The Rooz are a young, baby faced rock n roll band who are tearing up venues across the midlands, priding themselves on good quality music and entertainment.

The band is fronted by 18 year old singer/songwriter Louis Coupe. The band also includes Ralph Porrett (15) on lead guitar, Tom Russell (17) on drums and Peter Davis (18) on bass, with Louis switching between multiple instruments, mainly piano and guitar.

The band have quickly built up a solid following in their local area and around the midlands. Known for their exciting live shows The Rooz captivate audiences wherever they go - packing out venues to maximum capacity. They do not stick to conventional rock tunes, instead performing a variety of melodic rock songs and all out energetic rock n roll. The addition of the piano/keyboards is a refreshing sound, and adds to the diversity of this band. The band were given an award for 'Innovation' by Music For Youth at the National Festival (Birmingham Town Hall) in July 2014.

In December 2013, The Rooz were crowned Live Band of the Year 2013 at the Robin 2 in Wolverhampton and were named 3rd Best Under 19 Artist in the UK in the Rock The House competition held at the Bedford in London in May 2014. The band have released 3 EP's which are available to download on iTunes and in their store. 2015 looks set to be an exciting year for one of the most acclaimed young bands in the UK.

Escapade have been added to this years FinFest lineup!

We have been to see these guys play and we cannot wait for you to hear them! Influenced by the likes of Kasabian with hints of Oasis, add some catchy lyrics and you have one hell of a band! We know these guys are going to become a FinFest favourite

These boys are going places with their psychedelic rock/pop twist and are currently in the studio recording their EP, watch his space!

CTRL C are an acoustic covers group from the heart of the Staffordshire, the creative county. Taking well known popular music and twisting it and mixing it into something different, and special.

With the focus being on fun and laughter, the light hearted relationship the band builds with the crowd, makes everyone there 'with the band.

Mashing together a love for cheesie pop music and a need to attract ladies with their acoustic prow-ess, ctrl C play all the songs you think you know and you know you know, with the witt and charm of a young Bobby Davro (with an acoustic guitar no less).

So come on, bring a friend, chill with the dynamic quintet (not Batman or Robin as we don't want any issues in regards to which band member is which...... Figo is clearly Batman..... this was clearly written by Figo), and sing along to the songs you think you know and you know you know.

Josh uses just an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal to create a sound to rival a band. Having played 500+ gigs in in the last 3 years on repetitive tours of the UK, Josh's well practiced audience participation means his set is well suited to both main stage festivals and more intimate acoustic gigs.

Press;

"A Notts star on the rise....his uplifting tracks filled with catchy melodies and truthful lyrics are sure to blow you away. Top this off with silky sweet vocals and there you have it, Josh Kemps recipe for gig success!"
- Maddie Hammond and Ashleigh Bossman, TOP 3 GIGS – Week Beginning 20th August. (Aug 19, 2012)

"“Here is a young talent to be savoured”"
- Phil Ball, Concert Review

"Josh makes some happy and upbeat songs and combines them with his unique and pretty damned charming voice. On top of that we have the excellent finger picking styles on guitar and some epic looping going on, Josh flawlessly flips through the layers... it's great to see but a million times better to hear..."
- The Backroom, Nick Matthew, Feb 25, 2013

"... a performance of proffessional quality that raised the bar for solo artists."
-Trevor Locke, Arts In Leicester, Gig Review
